Pittsburgh

Took a quick trip to Pittsburgh the other day. Here’s a view of the skyline from the south side of the river. (You can click on the image to see a larger version.)

And here’s a bit of a surprise. This was captured with an iPhone 6 in panoramic mode. Then punched it up a bit in Photoshop.

I also visited the “Cathedral of Learning“, an amazing building at the University of Pittsburgh. I have some images from there that I am working on. Stay tuned …

  1. Rip,   Good to see you working on images and so well presented on the internet.   North Dakota awaits you. Fall will be harvest time. Very different from spring – but you have been here in the fall after the first workshop so you know.   A few recent images.   Northern Lights from one of the workshop locations this fall. Lightning shot from “Ed’s Place” along Highway 17. That was a good night for lightning.   Hoping for a good Aurora show tonight. Has to be a strong one due to the full moon. We’ll see.   The show looks good. Nice visitation and it complements the museum well.         Dan
